November 3, 2026 General Election Information
Last day for new registrations to register in order to vote in the November 3, 2026 election is October 7, 2026. On October 7, the Clerk’s office will be open until 5:00 pm.
The last to request a ballot by mail is October 21, 2026. The Clerk’s office will be open until 5:00 pm on October 21, 2026.
Absentee voting for the November 3, 2026 election begins September 22, 2026. The first day for in person no excuse absentee voting begins October 20, 2026. Absentee voting may be done in the County Clerk’s office during regular business hours, 8:30 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4:30 pm. The Holt County Clerk’s Office will also be open Saturday, October 31, 2026 from 8 am to 12 pm for absentee voting as well.
Official election results will be posted after 7:00 p.m. on election night.
